This is common since a sessions puts your body into parasympathetic mode (it wants to rest and repair)
I had a reflexology session with Shannon. I was a bit skeptical going in because I didn't know a lot about it. Shannon made me feel very comfortable. I loved the session, and to my amazement she was bang on for what was going on. I loved her session and would highly recommend her to anyone. Take a chance - you would be glad you did. And P.S. best sleep I had in a long time after the treatment.
I've only had it once, but it relieved tension in my low back.
Many clients can feel tension release in back, hips, neck, etc. If a lot of tension is relieved, a client can actually feel tender for a few days after while the body readjusts back to normal.
I haven't tried it because I don't really like my feet being touched.
I've heard this from many people - especially if their feet are ticklish. Reflexology is done with pressure, and when it is expected, clients find it doesn't feel as uncomfortable or ticklish like they thought. If you are curious about it, simply try it - if you find you do not like it once the sessions begins, simply stop the session. You are not obligated to complete the session. About 5 - 10 minutes into a session, you will know if your feet feel okay about it :)
